OHSAS 18001:1999 Essentials The one (1) day OHSAS 18001:1999 Essentials Session is targeted for companies who need to understand both the big picture of what this Standard is, as well as the details of what's in it. Includes front end discussions on the overall structure, followed by specific education on the requirements for each of the Elements. The group will be divided into teams and they will complete workshop exercises on each Element to reinforce learning and understanding of all the OHSAS 18001:1999 requirements.
OHSAS 18001:1999 Executive Overview The one to three hour OHSAS 18001:1999 Executive Overview Program provides executives, managers and supervisors with the essentials on what OHSAS 18001 is all about, what it's intent and purpose is, how it can be used to drive "continual improvement" of occupational health & safety results, how it impacts the role of management/supervision, and how OHSAS 18001 can be used to support good business practices! This is an excellent session for anyone who manages other people and wants to gain a good understanding of what's in the OHSAS 18001:1999 Standard.
OHSAS 18001:1999 Orientation The one to three hour OHSAS 18001:1999 Orientation Program provides frontline personnel help on understanding the basics of what OHSAS 18001:1999 is about, learn what it is trying to do, how it can affect their job and to discover ways to use it as a "tool" to get their tasks done! This is an excellent session for anyone who wants to gain a basic understanding of what's in the OHSAS 18001:1999 Standard and how it affects what they do.
Internal Process Auditing for OHSAS 18001:1999 The two (2) day Internal Process Auditing for OHSAS 18001:1999 Session (also covers requirements in ISO 19011:2002) is focused on a process approach to auditing with the objective being not only to assess conformance to this management system, but also to uncover process improvements during an audit. This goes hand in hand with the process auditing requirements found within ISO 19011:2002 and the process approach covered in OHSAS 18001:1999, which promotes continual process improvement throughout this Standard. An enhanced checklist is developed, and there will be workshops throughout, to reinforce learning, as well as a live, practice audit. If you are looking to meet the new internal audit requirements and to “raise the bar” for your internal audit program then this is the course you should consider.
Documentation Development for OHSAS 18001:1999 The two (2) day Documentation Development for OHSAS 18001:1999 Session is intended to assist organizations in developing either new management system documentation, or to renovate and revise existing documents. A copy of the OHSAS 18001:1999 Standard (presented as a sample OHSAS Manual) will be provided to each participant, in addition to hardcopies of the course slides. The focus will be on how to develop a simplified and streamlined OHSAS management system, that helps to manage and control these activities in your business.
