ISO 14001:2004 Essentials & Transition Session The one (1) day ISO 14001:2004 Essentials Session is targeted for companies who need to understand both the big picture of what this ISO Standard is, as well as the details of what's in it. The group will be divided into teams and they will complete workshop exercises on each Element to reinforce learning and understanding of all the ISO 14001:2004 requirements. Note: If you are currently registered to this ISO Standard, then the focus of the discussions in this session will be on what's new and what's been changed from the 1996 edition.
ISO 14001:2004 Executive Overview The one to three hour ISO 14001:2004 Executive Overview Program provides executives, managers and supervisors with the essentials on what ISO 14001 is all about, what it's intent and purpose is, how it can be used to drive "continual improvement" of environmental performance, how it impacts the role of management/supervision, and how ISO 14001 can be used to support good business environmental practices! This is an excellent session for anyone who manages other people and wants to gain a good understanding of what's in the ISO 14001:2004 Standard.
ISO 14001:2004 Orientation The one to three hour ISO 14001:2004 Orientation Program provides frontline personnel help on understanding the basics of what ISO 14001 is about, learn what it is trying to do, how it can affect their job and to discover ways to use ISO as a "tool" to get their tasks done! Internal Process Auditing for ISO 14001:2004 The two (2) day Internal Process Auditing for ISO 14001:2004 Session (also covers requirements in ISO 19011:2002) is focused on a process approach to auditing with the objective being not only to assess conformance of the environmental management system, but also to uncover process improvements during an audit. This goes hand in hand with the process auditing requirements found within ISO 19011:2002 and the process approach covered in ISO 14001:2004, which promotes continual process improvement throughout this Standard. An enhanced checklist is developed, and there will be workshops throughout, to reinforce learning, as well as a live, practice audit. If you are looking to meet the new ISO internal audit requirements and to “raise the bar” for your internal audit program then this is the course you should consider.
Documentation Development for ISO 14001:2004 The two (2) day Documentation Development for ISO 14001:2004 Session is intended to assist organizations in developing either new environmental management system documentation, or to renovate and revise existing documents. A copy of the ISO 14001:2004 Standard (presented as a sample Environmental Manual) will be provided to each participant, in addition to hardcopies of the course slides. The focus will be on how to develop a simplified and streamlined environmental management system, that helps to manage and control environmental activities in your business.
